We are now accepting submissions! We will be publishing a magazine online at the end of this semester that will be available on our website. Submissions are considered on a rolling basis.
If you’d like to submit work for consideration, please fill out our Submissions Form!
If you have any related material that cannot be sent through the form, or if you have any questions, email wparlortricks@gmail.com.
When submitting writing, please upload the work as a Word/PDF/Google document labeled with your name, title, and genre. For example: “Paul Hudson – My Very Fun Day (fiction).” If you’re submitting multiple pieces, please put them all in one document, and title like such: “Paul Hudson – portfolio (six poems and a screenplay).” Please do not include your name in the body of the document so that we may assess your work impartially.
We have no official page limit, but please send only your best. In general, 30 pages of prose or 15 pages of poetry is more than enough for us to get a sense of your work. Most submissions are significantly shorter than this.
When submitting art, please make sure your images are at least 300dpi. Pieces for print must be at least 3300 pixels in height.
If you’d like to pitch an idea for an essay, interview, or any other project, please indicate this on the submissions form or email wparlortricks@gmail.com or any of our individual editors. We’re always happy to discuss ideas and give feedback on works in progress. You can find individual editors’ emails under “Our Team.”
